Silence is Golden
Silence is observed prior to the beginning of the service out of respect for those in prayer and in reverence to the living presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

Stewardship

Try reading the teachings of Jesus with stewardship eyes sometimes. You will be amazed at how much Jesus speaks about money and possessions. In fact, his teachings include 361 verses on prayer; 398 verses on faith; 478 verses on love; and over 2000 verses mention money and possessions. The Bible says we are to give as we have been blessed. How much is enough? Do we spend more time and money on recreation and entertainment than we give back to God in offerings out of thankfulness to him? Perhaps we should ask, "How much of what God has given me should I keep for myself?"
