interested in helping, please contact the Director of Christian
Formation, Roberto Henriquez.
|
Run for the Son

Stewardship of our resources
Using our Corelle plates and cups in place of Styrofoam is a
responsible and faithful practice. We can do more. We can develope
car-pools, ride-shares and pick-ups for those who prefer not to
drive or cannot drive. This would be especially helpful when we have
church activities after dark. Please speak with a member of the
Bishop's Council.
|
Help with Worship Services
Interested in helping with the Worship Services? Want to be a
Crucifer, Acolyte, Reader? Positions are open, training is free,
uniform is provided, and everyone is welcome. (The rewards, or
course, are eternal!) Contact the Parish office if interested.

Vocare #6
Vocare weekend focuses on Christ in our everyday life. He calls each
of us to help carry on the work He started long ago. A relaxed,
supportive atmosphere gives the participants a chance to reflect on
their calling. The renewal weekend for young adults is June 6-8 at
the Cathedral Domain Camp and Conference Center. Cost is $90 and
application is due May 27. If you are interested, contact Roberto
Henriquez or the Parish office for registration forms.

Recycling
In the good stewardship vein, our recycling programs are still
available. Aluminum cans are to be bagged and deposited by the back
door in the fenced receptacle area. Papers (including junk mail,
envelopes, paper bags, et.), newsprint (newspapers), and magazines
can be put in the recycling bin. Please do NOT put cardboard in the
bin.
|
Fundraising Opportunity
A money making proposition has been presented. H.R. Block is
offering $25 for each new client (one not having used Block in the
past 2 years). Brochures are in the parish hall and in the narthex.

|
New Publications Available
